I’ve always found Mako’s reaction pretty interesting in this scene.
He’s startled at first, but I think most of that is just from Korra reacting so dramatically, and then the rest of the time he just sits there and stares at her and I really wonder what was going through his mind in that second.
From what we’ve seen it’s obvious that Mako’s the one who scooted over to Korra somewhere in that scene cut and I just can’t help but think he’s a bit…hurt. I mean look at his face. He gets all cozy with her and she acts like that? Tsk. Of course, Korra acted as such because she had a crush on him, but Mako didn’t know that. He probably thought she really didn’t want to be by him. Wah. ;~;
Also, Korra is physically in his lap at the beginning of this gif and it makes me really giddy I’m giGGLING LIKE MAD

Stinkeye Korra is great, but I also love the Zuko with the scar on the wrong side in the background, mad dogging the camera. He was a nice dude. I didn’t want to point it out. It must have looked right to him in the mirror. Or maybe he was Actor Zuko…? Doesn’t matter, he owned it with that mad dog. “I DARE YOU to mention my scar is on the wrong side.”
